Shortly after, this ambition became reality: the event received official <strong data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"734\">FIA approval<\/strong>, and since <strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"754\">2023<\/strong>, it has been a fixture in the <strong data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"829\">FIA European Historic Rally Championship<\/strong> calendar, marking a triumphant return after a <strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"896\">six-year absence<\/strong>. The <strong data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1133\">Historic Acropolis Rally<\/strong> will raise the curtain on the <strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1187\">gravel championship<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1204\">May 23\u201324<\/strong>. The action will then move to <strong data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1247\">Portugal<\/strong> for the second round on <strong data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1286\">June 19\u201320<\/strong>, followed by the <strong data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1328\">Lahti Historic Rally<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1343\">Finland<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1365\">August 20\u201322<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"1375\" data-end=\"1414\">East Sweden European Historic Rally<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"1434\">August 28\u201329<\/strong>.
