Regularity News Historic Acropolis Rally 2026 – Regularity – A precision rally through breathtaking routes!

With the goal of accumulating the fewest possible penalty points and achieving absolute accuracy in maintaining the predetermined average speed, competitors in the Historic Acropolis Rally Regularity will take on this unique challenge. The event will take place from May 22 to May 24, with participants required to maintain the set Average Speeds (AS) throughout the regularity tests, passing through hidden timing points as close as possible to the target time.

This year’s edition of the classic rally has been designed to pass through some of the most enchanting corners of Greece, offering participants the opportunity to discover unexplored landscapes and picturesque locations. The rally combines the competitive element with the pleasure of a unique journey through the country’s history and natural beauty. Once again, it is expected to attract crews from abroad, further strengthening the international character of the Historic Acropolis Rally.

The Historic Acropolis Rally Regularity will start on Friday, May 22, at Thermopylae, with the iconic monument of Leonidas as the backdrop. From Mount Oiti, participants will pass through the stunning Fourna in Evrytania and the famous Tarzan stage, offering spectacular views of the Greek countryside. The first day will conclude with an overnight stay in Neochori, a village near Lake Plastira, where participants will enjoy a rich dinner and rest after 220 kilometers filled with driving, challenges, and impressive scenery.

The second leg of the rally covers a total of 450 kilometers and promises an exciting experience through some of the most impressive regions of Greece. Crews will start on the morning of Saturday, May 23, from Lake Plastira, facing a route full of twists, changing landscapes, and remarkable natural beauty. From Lake Plastira to Pramanta, and from Kalarrytes to Chaliki, competitors will reach Metsovo. This will be followed by a delightful drive to Meteora, where the leg will conclude. In the evening, the crews will return to Neochori for dinner and overnight accommodation, completing a day full of driving challenges and unforgettable experiences.

On Sunday, May 24, crews will start from Neochori for the third and final leg of the rally, crossing magnificent routes that combine natural beauty with demanding driving sections. Mountain roads will lead competitors to Lamia, with the rally finishing in Athens in the afternoon. The ceremonial finish will take place with the majestic Sacred Rock of the Acropolis as a backdrop, completing a 350-kilometer route.

The event counts toward the Greek Regularity Championship, serving as the third round of the series. The entry fee includes dinner and accommodation for both Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23, as well as snacks provided during the rally.

All FIA Historic car categories are eligible to participate. Historic vehicles may also take part outside competition, without timekeeping, allowing their crews to experience the rally atmosphere and enjoy the routes.

The Historic Acropolis Rally promises to deliver the ultimate Regularity Event experience, combining top-level organization and action that meets modern standards, while maintaining tradition and respect for historic cars.

The OMAE, in cooperation with SUPERFAST FERRIES, has once again secured a discount for passengers and vehicles with trailers traveling from Italy to Greece to participate in the Historic Acropolis Rally. SUPERFAST FERRIES will act as the rally’s transport sponsor, offering a 30% discount on travel for passengers, trucks, passenger cars, and trailers, as well as cabins (subject to availability). The offer applies to trips from Ancona / Bari / Venice to Igoumenitsa / Patras and return, for travel between Friday 15/05/26 and Tuesday 25/05/26.
